Morning Routine

Are you starting your day off right? Check out my video below showing some my favorite core strengthening exercises.

The following exercises are:

  1. Burpees: This is a full body exercise, more specifically uses your abs, arms, chest, glutes, hamstrings, and quads. Keep your back straight when in handstand and plank positions and keep your core tight at all times.
  2. Mountain Climbers: Another full body strengthener; keep your back straight and don’t let your chin touch your chest (I personally think my head is a little too tucked in and recommend keeping your head higher up than I show in my video).
  3. V Ups: My favorite core shredding exercise. I do a modified V Up routine. For a harder workout, do the same concept with your legs straight. Again, keep your back straight.
  4. Finally, walk with your pup! Walking is a great calorie/fat burner, especially if you have a fast speed and/or walk up hill. It also improves your mood and gets your blood flowing in your body!
