High Expectations Met in Denver, CO

Exercising in Colorado was hands down one of the best experiences of my life.

Why you ask?

High Altitude.



Doing your workout, especially aerobic exercises, in high altitude has many benefits to your health and performance. There is about a 20% decrease in the oxygen level, thus increasing you blood cell count. With that being said, your body has to work harder to perform your routine, making you breathe heavier, which then allows more blood cells to go into your muscle and increase muscle mass.

Okay, enough of the scientific talk…

My favorite part of working out in Colorado is the people!! There are a ton of athletes all over Colorado (Denver to be exact). Bicyclists, exercise groups, runners, interval trainers, yoga groups, you name it, you’ll see it. In the neighborhoods, there are a lot of people outside walking their pets (you know how much I love seeing pups).

And the best part is…

Everyone is so nice and encouraging! People will say hello to others and will motivate others when exercising. While performing my wall climbing exercise shown in my video, a man had ran past me down the stairs and said to me “good job, keep it up!” And just that little bit of encouragement made me work harder.

I highly recommend people to check out Denver, Colorado and seek different exercise opportunities. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
